- Excavated a 23’ x 23’ area to a depth of about 12 inches, working through tough, compacted ground.
- Laid a 10-inch compacted crusher run base to provide a stable foundation.
- Installed Techo-Bloc ‘Pure’ pavers in Sandlewood for the main patio surface.
- Added a decorative border using Techo-Bloc ‘Villagio’ pavers in Sandlewood for a cohesive, elegant finish.
- Used Techniseal ‘Edgebond’ concrete edging instead of plastic, ensuring a stronger and more durable edge restraint.
- Carefully pitched the patio downhill to facilitate proper water runoff and prevent pooling.
- Applied Granite Techniseal polymeric sand to lock pavers in place and provide a sleek, finished look.
Final Touches & Landscape Grading
After completing the patio, we took additional steps to blend it seamlessly into the yard and ensure proper stormwater management:

- Brought the grade up slightly around the patio edges to match the surrounding lawn.
- Regraded the surrounding yard for smooth transitions and to maintain proper drainage flow.
