Wooded Lot Clearing and Lawn Restoration for New Development
In this project, we transformed an untouched wooded area behind a new home into a clean, usable, and beautifully restored backyard space. By collaborating with trusted partners and leveraging careful planning, we delivered a seamless result that exceeded the homeowners expectations.

Clearing the Wooded Lot with Precision and Care
This lot, part of a new home development, included a wooded section that had been overlooked during initial site work. With a referral from Quinn Hauling and Excavating, the homebuilders’ trusted site contractor, the homeowners reached out to us for help. Strong partnerships like this are a cornerstone of our business, allowing us to work efficiently and deliver exceptional results.
Accessing the backyard was a challenge due to the newly installed fence and narrow property line. We used a compact skid steer to carefully navigate the tight space, hauling loads of brush, roots, debris, and boulders out to roll-off containers provided by our reliable partner, C & C Roll Offs. Throughout the process, we ensured minimal disruption to the property.
One major obstacle was a leaning tree over a fence, which required careful planning and execution to bring down safely without damaging any structures. By using a skid steer equipped with a grapple bucket, we efficiently removed all debris from the wooded area and cleared it completely.
Ongoing Care and Beautiful Results
By late September and early October, the hydroseed had fully germinated, resulting in a lush and healthy lawn. The homeowners followed our advice to water consistently, which is essential for success, especially during the hot and dry summer months. While weeds initially posed a challenge, they hired a lawn care company to address the issue with spraying and aeration, which helped the grass thrive.
Although hydroseeding in summer can be more challenging, proper watering and care ensured this lawn grew beautifully. For best results, we recommend hydroseeding in cooler months like late September or early October to create ideal conditions for germination. Regardless of the season, the key to success is patient, consistent maintenance, especially with watering.
This project highlights our commitment to detail, collaboration with trusted contractors, and ability to overcome challenges to deliver a stunning finished product.
